Washington Baseball Instruction and Washington Softball Instruction were opened under the direction of Ken Knutson and Scott Watson. WBI offers cutting edge instruction and training programs and a Division I curriculum.

1 - One ideal mechanical model does not exist. Most coaches cannot distinguish between form and function; therefore, they abide by a cookie cutter approach or simply regurgitate conventional information they have learned over the years.
2 - The paradigms of intent and synchronization are crucial at WBI. Posing or choreographing movement is the most detrimental thing a coach can do. The focus should be on the organization, connection, and the speed of movements that happen in throwing, pitching, and hitting.
3 - The paradigm of T.R.I.P. should serve as your guide to training. This is an acronym created to illustrate the perfect model for training – Technique, Repetition, Intent, and Persistence
